Current Projects
At Sacred Hoofprints, Marla works as a co-teacher with Erin Cain, Founder and Visionary of Grace Reins in Telluride, Colorado. Through equine therapy, Marla teaches the children mindfulness, nature immersion, and creative visualization. This program helps children build confidence, emotional resilience, and a deep connection to themselves and the world around them. All activities are interwoven with horse interaction.
Through Our Sisters in Ethiopia, Marla and her partners at the Ethiopian Family Fund empower HIV-positive women and their children by providing education, business training, and essential health resources. This four-month program equips mothers with the skills to build sustainable businesses while ensuring their children receive proper schooling, helping families stay together and thrive.
